Me: "I'm the vase."
(if you knew what I mean by vase)
Him: "Yea."
Me: "Yea, so sad."
Him: "No."
Me: "What?"
Him: "You're not the vase. You're the flower. You're replaceable but the vase stays."
Me: "):"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I want nobody nobody but you.
How can I be with another, I don't want any other.

THIS SONG IS A TOTAL JOKE. (:

The smell of your skin lingers on me now...

Regina (Hepburn) is about to divorce her husband when she finds that he has been murdered after converting every penny they owned to cash, which is also missing. She meets Cary Grant who changes his name every 15 min. or so and is interested in her husband's money, which seems to have come from a WWII payroll he stole. His partners in crime are also very interested in where the money is, as he stole it from them as well. Everyone assumes Regina MUST know where the money is. The situation becomes more tense when the searchers begin turning up dead.

Yes, yet another film. (:
It's rather surprising because I wasn't really able to predict the ending.
The lead actor, Gary Grant, changed his name THREE times in TWO days.
A plot filled with lies all over.
Who to trust? Hahaha. I kinda like this show cause it has a tinge of mystery in it.
People get killed one by one but there was no clue of a murderer.
Exciting! I love mystery. But then again I love answers. Hmm.

Nonetheless, I still love Breakfast at Tiffany's the most.
I'm stuck with "Moon River". (: and I love Hepburn in that LBD. :D

Okay I'm so lazy to blog.
GOODBYE.

OH MY GOD.
END OF EXAM, FTW!!!!!!! :D
No words can describe my excitement now.

And I'm gonna watch another film starring Audrey Hepburn - Sabrina.

Plot:

Sabrina Fairchild (Hepburn) is the young daughter of the Larrabee family's chauffeur, Thomas (John Williams), and has been in love with David Larrabee (Holden) all her life. David is an oft-married, idle playboy, crazy for women, who has never noticed Sabrina, much to her and the staff's dismay. Sabrina then attends culinary school in Paris and returns as an attractive and sophisticated woman. David, after initially not recognizing her, is quickly drawn to her. David's workaholic older brother Linus (Bogart) sees this and fears that David's imminent wedding with a very rich woman may be endangered. If the wedding were to be canceled, so would a great corporate deal with the bride's family. So Linus tries to redirect Sabrina's affections to himself and in the process, also falls in love with her.

The ending contains Sabrina leaving for Paris on a boat, after Linus has told her to leave and never come back. In a board meeting, realizing his mistake, he manages to get on the boat, and they sail away together to Paris.

HAHAH I was supposed to post this entry on Friday itself.
But I was sooooooooooooo tired after watching Sabrina.
It was yet another classic predictable show.
In fact, I like it when I know how the ending would go. (:
Others just love surprises, RIGHT?

I've been leading a pretty much fulfilling life.
THIS IS WHAT I CALL LIFE. (:
987 RSVP @ Hard Rock Cafe, followed by Zouk on Saturday.
The music was hella awesome. (;

I need to party more often and yet my friend comments that I club so often! /:

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

Always wanted to watch this but never got around to it but I've finally gotten to it. ((((:
Great way to alleviate all that stress. :D

Just so you know, Tiffany's = Tiffany & Co. (:
And breakfast doesn't literally mean the intake of FOOD.
Also, the genre of this show: Comedy, Romance, Drama.
Yes it's a comedy too, rather hilarious I must say.

This film was loosely based on the novella of the same name by Truman Capote.
And this is the plot:

The novella tells the story of a one-year (Autumn 1943 to Autumn 1944) friendship between the main character, Holiday ("Holly") Golightly and an unnamed narrator. The two are both tenants in a brownstone apartment in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Holly Golightly (age 19-20) is a Texas-born country hick turned New York café society girl, who makes her living coaxing dollars off of rich, older gentlemen. The narrator, who lives in the flat above her, is an aspiring writer. Golightly, who likes to stun people with carefully selected tidbits from her personal life or her outspoken viewpoint on various topics, slowly reveals herself to the narrator. In the end, however, Golightly fears that she will never know what is really hers until after she has thrown it away; she subsequently abandons her friend to seek her ever elusive goal of finding both riches and a place to call home.

The movie did not conclude the way the novel did.
It concluded, with a predictable happy ending of course.
Like DUH! HAHAHA.

Anyhow, Audrey Hepburn sang this song, "Moon River", which totally took my breath away.
Not because of her singing skills. It's the song itself that reminded me of how is it like to feel really, calm.
I can totally visualize the serenity immediately. (:
I bet you guys don't know what this song is BUT would realize it after you've listened.
So take a listen HERE.

Lyrics:
Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me.

Another thing was, a scene in this movie was adapted by Gossip Girl, where Holly (Audrey Hepburn) was searching for her cat after throwing it out to the streets from a taxi, in the heavy rain, all drenched.

Here it is:

That's Blair, and she was wearing the same coat and hairstyle as Hepburn in the show. Besides that, the setting for both Gossip Girl & Breakfast at Tiffany's are in the Upper East Side, Manhattan.

In the TV series Gossip Girl the instrumental of "Moon River" plays when Blair Waldorf dreams of being in Serena Van Der Woodsen's shadow. The instrumental plays again when Blair finds out Serena is the model that replaced her for the photo shoot of her mother's clothing line.

Anyway, I totally love Hepburn's role in the movie. (:
She portrayed it very well too.
LOVE IT TTM! (((:

Okay this is getting a lil lengthy.
WHAT TO DO?
WHO ASK ME TO BE SO VINTAGE. :x

Oh yes, before this slips my mind,
SHE IS DAMN F*ING SKINNY!

SEE!!!! Even skinner than me!!!!!
Almost like malnutrition. Her bones are protruding out.
Okay this is sounding sick. (:

OKAY THAT'S ALL FOLKS.
LAST PAPER ON FRIDAY.
AFTER THAT I'M GOING CRAZY.
IN FACT, I'M QUITE CRAZY NOW.
I'VE GOT MY OPTIMISM BACK TOO. (:
